Since 1990

Since 1990. Two generations. One belief.

Drape Shoppe began in 1990, when our founder opened a furnishing store in Bhagatalav, Surat. Back then, furnishing meant curtain fabric and sofa fabric — and little else.

Homes ask for more today. In 2012, Hiten Vakawala carried the legacy forward, and our Bhatar Char Rasta showroom brought fabric, furniture and décor together under one roof.

Because a home isn’t just a place to live. It’s where you should find peace. That’s what we’ve been building for our customers for 35 years.

Standard furniture rarely fits a real room. We make sofas, armchairs, headboards and dining seating to your dimensions, finished in any fabric from our collection — so the piece suits the space instead of the space working around the piece.
